84 5718 Sahih Bukhari 77 5926 Dress - كتاب اللباس "30175 20031 11201 11014 18" حدثنا مسدد، حدثنا يحيى، عن عبيد الله، قال حدثني نافع، عن عبد الله رضى الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اتخذ خاتما من ذهب، وجعل فصه مما يلي كفه، فاتخذه الناس، فرمى به، واتخذ خاتما من ورق أو فضة‏.‏ " Narrated `Abdullah: Allah's Apostle wore a gold or silver .. ring and placed its stone towards the palm of his hand. The people also started wearing gold rings like it but when the Prophet saw them wearing such rings he threw away that golden ring and then wore a silver ring."
