78 15512 Sahih Muslim 38 5585 The Book Pertaining to Clothes and Decoration - كتاب اللباس والزينة "30160 20173 20276" حدثنا محمد بن بشار، حدثنا محمد يعني ابن جعفر، ح وحدثناه ابن المثنى، حدثنا ابن أبي عدي، كلاهما عن شعبة، بهذا الإسناد وفي حديث ابن جعفر كان مروان يستخلفأبا هريرة ‏.‏ وفي حديث ابن المثنى كان أبو هريرة يستخلف على المدينة ‏.‏ This hadith has been reported on the authority of Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters and in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn ja'far (the words are): Marwan had made Abu Huraira as his deputy. and in the hadith transmitted on the authority of Ibn Muthanna (the words are). Abu Huraira was the Governor of Medina.
